YouTube.comYouTube is a great educational resource for teachers, but sometimes the comments, suggested videos, and advertisements aren’t exactly student friendly. essentially cleans up all of the “other” stuff by creating a temporary website with only the YouTube video that you want displayed.

Give Me an Example

One might think that this School House Rock video would be innocent enough to show in a classroom.  Unfortunately, as often happens on YouTube, the comments below the video have become a hotbed of not-so-friendly political discourse.

While the exchange of differing points of view is a fundamental part of  our great democracy, the 2nd grade classroom is perhaps not the most appropriate venue for such a debate.  Instead, view  the video here:
